Mandatory Health Testing per Pyrenean Mastiff Association of America as of 2025 includes OFA Hips, OFA Elbows, Cardiac testing and Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) testing. We have also decided to test Eyes and Patellas in addition to mandatory testing items for the breed. All testing results must be publicly displayed in OFA and by doing so an OFA CHIC number is given. For transparency you can see all of our dogs results up front for testing and if they have been issued a CHIC number.

The Pyrenean Mastiff Association of America also decided with 2025 that dogs must be at least 2 years of age before breeding.
